Quality in the automotive industry

SQS certifies quality standards throughout the automotive industry supply chain.

The quality of an end product depends on the quality of each individual component of that end product. This rule has special significance in the automotive industry. The finished product is only perceived by consumers, in this case motorists, as being a high-quality product if their high expectations in terms of quality, safety and reliability have been met in every detail. This applies not only to the purchase and use of a vehicle, but also if something does not work as expected. Then, whether or not the car owner is happy depends on the quality of the garage business.

Quality management for suppliers ...

To be accepted by automotive manufacturers as a supplier, certification pursuant to IATF 16949:2016 is essential.
This standard brings together the existing global automotive industry requirements of the quality management systems of industry suppliers. For a company to obtain the certificate, it must continue to develop its structured quality management in line with ISO 9001 and must integrate the specific requirements of the automotive industry into its management and organisational system. SQS is approved by the IATF (International Automotive Task Force) as a certification body for IATF 16949:2016 and is therefore a competent and experienced partner for implementation of the appropriate procedure.

... and for garage businesses
