Training courses - terms and conditions
Customers can register on our homepage. Registration will be confirmed via e-mail. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received and are confirmed at least 2 weeks before the seminar date.
At least 10 working days before the seminar date.
Any requests to rebook seminars must be submitted in writing to the training office. Customers will not be charged for rebooking a seminar if they do so up to 11 working days before the seminar date. Customers who rebook a seminar any later than this will be charged CHF 200.00 per seminar unless they are able to provide a medical certificate.
Any requests to withdraw from seminars must be submitted in writing to the training office. Customers will not be charged for withdrawing from a seminar if they do so up to 11 working days before the seminar begins. If a customer withdraws from a seminar any later than this, the following cancellation fees will apply (as a percentage of the price):
• 5 to 10 working days before the seminar date: 50%
• Fewer than 5 working days before the seminar date: 100%
The cancellation fees will not apply if the customer is able to nominate a substitute to take part or provide a medical certificate.
Cancellation of a training course
A training session cannot go ahead unless a minimum number of participants register. If SQS cancels a training session, customers will be notified personally at least 2 weeks before the session date. Customers will not be entitled to compensation. If a session is cancelled by us, customers will be refunded any participation fees they have already paid. If a seminar cannot go ahead as a result of force majeure (for example, if the trainer is ill or involved in an accident), SQS will offer customers an alternative date. If no alternative date can be agreed upon, registration may be cancelled free of charge.
Environmentally friendly measures
We are giving seminar participants their very own SBB Rail Check (a voucher worth CHF 25.00) to encourage use of environmentally-friendly public transport. (We offset the CO2 emissions produced by all of our seminars.)
