About us
The Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) was founded in 1983. It was established as one of the first organisations worldwide to provide assessment and certification services. Today, SQS is the market leader in its sector in Switzerland.
SQS, with its legal status as Association, is a neutral and independent not-for-profit organisation.
SQS provides certification and assessment services as well as practice oriented training in form of workshops and seminars.
With this extensive range of services, a practice and customer oriented support is guaranteed.
With its well-qualified employees, SQS provides competent and practice oriented audit and certification services in all industry and service sectors. Customised audit and certification services focus on companies’ necessities, irrespective their size and branch.
SQS employs 156 permanent employees (5 of which are apprentices) in Switzerland, France and Italy and more than 285 associate employees worldwide.
Thanks to the accreditation of the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS), the active membership of the International Certification Network IQNet and the co-operation contracts/agreements with accredited partners, SQS certificates are accepted worldwide.
