What does the product offer?
A two tier label system for environmentally friendly power generation or electricity products.
Target groups
- Power generation plants producing electricity from renewable energy sources such as water, photovoltaics, wind and biomass (fermentation of plant material, sewage gas, agricultural biogas and timber)
- Energy retailers and distributors which trade with energy products or supply it to end customers

- Substantive proof of sustainable and responsible operations

- Delimitation from nuclear power and cheap power from coal or heavy oil power stations abroad
Certificate validity
- 5 years (one monitoring audit every year)
