ISO/TS 16949
Certification of
automotive suppliers and Quality Management Systems in the car industry
The
VDA has released the Technical Specification for ISO / TS 16949:2009 as of the 1st of July 2009. This
upgrade
includes the implementation of ISO 9001:2008, but no additional or new requirements, which exceed the
requirements of ISO 9001.
The transition to ISO / TS 16949:2009 is possible without an
additional review. Only the reissuing of the Certificate is required. In the course of the implementation
of a repeat assessment, these costs are included in the certification.
